Our Team of Dedicated Veterinarians

Samantha Fraysier, DVM, CERP, CVMMP

Dr. Samantha Fraysier (Dr. Sam) grew up in south central Pennsylvania, where she was an active member in the equine community. She competed in Pony Club, 4-H, and US Eventing Association events, where she developed a great understanding of the horse, and grew her passion for providing excellent care. She completed a B.S in Biology from Juniata College, and went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee in 2015, graduating as valedictorian. Dr. Sam expanded her knowledge of the sport horse by completing a year long internship at Peninsula Equine Medical Center, where she studied under two certified ISELP (International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology) members. She spent the next eight years working with a practice well-known for their quality care before deciding to start Forward Thinking Equine Veterinary Services with Dr. Rachael. During that time, she studied to become a Certified Equine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CERP), as well as acquired her certification in Veterinary Medical Manipulation  (CVMMP aka equine chiropractic)

Dr. Sam’s professional interests include care of the sport horse. In particular, she enjoys diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections, as well as the use of physical therapy to aid in successful recovery from injury and injury prevention.

In her free time, Dr. Sam enjoys training and competing in eventing, as well as spending time with her husband, son, and daughter.
